STORY PAT TEST SERVICES

We are a family run business and value professionalism and a commitment to our customers. Our technicians are trained to City & Guilds level 3, insured and qualified to inspect and certify your equipment in accordance with 5th Edition In-service Inspection of electrical equipment requirements. 

We offer a mobile Portable Appliance (PAT) testing service. We will come to your premises with fully calibrated equipment and carry out all the necessary checks on your equipment, including visual inspection, earth continuity, insulation resistance, lead polarity and bond tests.

We will provide a full report on each piece of equipment and the necessary certification required by businesses and organisations to comply with their insurance and safety policy requirements.

For example, a band, DJ or Photo booth operator will be required by a venue to supply evidence the equipment they intend to plug into the venues system is fully tested and certified safe. During our inspection we can replace faulty or non compliant plugs or fuses and carry spare leads etc equipment to ensure your equipment is safe and compliant with current regulations.

SIMPLE PRICING​

We offer a full test report and certificate for just £45.00 for the first 20 items

and £1.10 per additional items tested at the same appointment.

FREE UK BS1363 plug replacements if necessary

on jobs over 150 items, otherwise £2.00 per plug. 

Call out travel included up to 25 miles from Norwich for jobs with a value of £75.00 or more.

If under £75.00, we charge a nominal fuel fee of 50p a mile over the first 25miles.
